Start your career where technology, innovation and healthcare come together. At Opella, we’re challenging how self-care works for millions of people around the world, and we’re looking for a Manufacturing & Supply Graduate to join our Virginia site in Brisbane in 2027.
Over two years, you’ll have the opportunity to build practical experience within our Manufacturing & Supply environment, working alongside experienced teams and gaining exposure to the technologies, processes and data that help us make and supply healthcare products. Whether your interests lie in manufacturing, supply chain, robotics and automation, digital technology, data and analytics or artificial intelligence, this is an opportunity to take what you’ve learned at university and start applying it to real-world challenges.
We’re looking for someone with curiosity, fresh thinking and a challenger mindset. You don’t need extensive work experience. We’re interested in your potential, technical capability, willingness to learn and drive to make an impact.
About the opportunity
Our 2027 Manufacturing & Supply Graduate Program is designed to give you practical experience while developing the technical, analytical and professional skills to build your career. Rather than expecting you to fit neatly into one technical discipline, we’re interested in graduates who can bring different capabilities and perspectives to the future of Manufacturing & Supply.
During the two-year program, you’ll have opportunities to:
- Gain hands-on experience within a real Manufacturing & Supply environment.
- Contribute to projects focused on improving the way we manufacture, operate and supply our products.
- Explore how automation, robotics, digital technologies, data and AI can support modern manufacturing and supply environments.
- Use data and problem-solving skills to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Learn from experienced colleagues across different technical and operational disciplines.
- Build your technical capability while developing communication, collaboration and project skills.
- Bring fresh thinking and challenge complexity by looking for smarter, simpler ways of working.
Main responsibilities
Depending on your projects and areas of exposure, you may:
- Support projects across manufacturing, supply chain, operations and technology.
- Use data to identify trends, solve problems and support better operational decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply processes.
- Explore opportunities to apply digital technology, automation and new ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, supply and other teams to solve real business challenges.
- Prepare analysis, presentations and recommendations to support projects and decision-making.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, seek feedback and build your technical and professional capability.
- Ensure Safety and Quality is always at the forefront of your mind.
About you
We’re not expecting you to arrive with years of industry experience. This is a graduate opportunity, and we’re looking for potential, curiosity and a genuine interest in the future of Manufacturing & Supply. You’ll ideally bring:
- A Bachelor's degree, completed recently or due to be completed before joining us in 2027, in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- An interest in solving real-world manufacturing, technology, supply or operational challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity about how data and technology can improve the way things work.
- The ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate with people from different technical and professional backgrounds.
- Initiative, adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and taking on new challenges.
- A challenger mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge complexity and look for simpler, smarter ways of working.
We're particularly interested in graduates with an interest in:
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain
- Robotics & Automation
- Digital Technology
- Data & Analytics
Your degree alone won't define your potential. If you've studied something different but can demonstrate strong technical thinking, curiosity and a genuine interest in Manufacturing & Supply, we'd still love to hear from you.
Why start your career at Opella?
This is more than your first graduate role. It's an opportunity to build your career at the intersection of healthcare, manufacturing and technology. You'll have the chance to take ideas out of the classroom and apply them to real challenges, work alongside experienced professionals and explore where your skills could take you as manufacturing continues to become more digital, connected and data driven.
Bring your curiosity. Bring your technical thinking. Bring your ideas. Help us challenge what's possible in Manufacturing & Supply. We are challengers. We are Opella.
