The Iron Infusion Clinic | Brisbane (Sinnamon Park)
The Iron Infusion Clinic (TIIC), part of Sanguis Health, is a specialist healthcare service dedicated to the assessment, management and treatment of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia.
With clinics across Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast, we are one of Australia's largest providers of specialist-led iron infusions. Our model combines experienced clinical teams with specialist haematology oversight to ensure patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based care.
As our Brisbane clinic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a casual basis, working approximately one day per week, with the potential for additional days as the clinic continues to expand.
This is an opportunity to join an established specialist service, working alongside a highly skilled team of Registered Nurses and experienced medical administration professionals, with clinical oversight, training and ongoing mentorship from Consultant Haematologist Dr Joel Collins.
Your Role
Working as part of our specialist team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and clinical consultations.
- Assessing and managing patients presenting with iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia.
- Reviewing pathology results and determining appropriate investigation and management pathways.
- Developing individualised treatment plans in accordance with current clinical evidence and best practice.
- Prescribing and coordinating iron infusion treatment within your scope of practice.
- Providing clinical oversight and support throughout the patient journey.
- Working collaboratively with our Registered Nurses to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Providing appropriate follow-up and ongoing management.
- Liaising with referring practitioners and our specialist haematologist as required.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records.

- Current AHPRA registration and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Relevant clinical experience and demonstrated advanced assessment skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in pathology interpretation, diagnosis and clinical management.
- Prescribing experience and the ability to work within your endorsed scope of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in iron deficiency management, iron infusions or haematology is not essential. We welcome applications from experienced Nurse Practitioners with transferable clinical skills and an interest in developing expertise in this specialist area.
We understand that moving into a specialist area of practice involves developing new knowledge and clinical skills. You'll receive structured training and ongoing clinical mentorship from Dr Joel Collins, Consultant Haematologist, alongside the support of our experienced nursing team.
