Sands Fridge Lines are currently seeking Working Holiday Visa holders for multiple Pick Packing and Loading roles located in Forrestfield WA. Great opportunities with long hours available. Start now and work through for six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading refrigerated trailers
- Unloading containers and freight
- Pick packing chilled and frozen food products
- Operating pallet jacks and manual handling equipment
- Sorting and staging freight for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following food safety and quality procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse and operational tasks as required
This is a varied role that will keep you active throughout the shift, with every day bringing new challenges and opportunities.
About the Role
This position is based in our Forrestfield facility and involves working in chilled and refrigerated environments. The role is physically demanding and requires regular:
- Lifting and carrying
- Walking and standing for extended periods
- Loading and unloading freight
- Working in cold storage conditions
Applicants must be comfortable undertaking physical work for the duration of their shift.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to attendance
- Previous labouring, warehouse, freight handling or logistics experience
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon or evening shifts
- Availability for an immediate start
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience in cold storage, food manufacturing or transport operations
- Pallet jack experience
- Forklift licence (LF)
