Are you someone who enjoys a change of scenery and thrives in different environments? Do you get restless working from the same location every day? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Regional Relief Driver, you will provide temporary operational coverage across any of our nine regional depots throughout Western Australia as required. When regional coverage is not needed, you will be based out of the Forrestfield depot. This role offers plenty of variety and flexibility. You may spend several weeks supporting a regional branch, or you may be completing deliveries within the Perth metropolitan area. No two weeks are likely to be the same.
Requirements
- Reliable, professional, customer service-focused
- Willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Work away from Perth for periods between 1 - 6 weeks at a time
- Adaptable and able to work independently
- Comfortable operating in a range of locations and environments
- Current unrestricted HR Driver's Licence
- Minimum 1 year experience operating HR / HC vehicles
- Experience reversing and manoeuvring vehicles onto loading docks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
- Good level of physical fitness, as manual handling is required with every delivery
- Flexibility to travel and work across regional and metropolitan locations as needed
