This is a newly created and pivotal role that puts you in the driver's seat of the EV revolution. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Brand & Product, you will own the full product lifecycle from ideation through to go-to-market execution and continuous optimisation.
Your work will influence how Australians access, finance, and embrace Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), collaborating with both public and private stakeholders to deliver cutting‐edge, compliant, and customer-focused EV solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product innovation and development from concept to delivery
- Build strong internal and external partnerships, including suppliers and public sector stakeholders
- Drive market analysis and commercial insights to shape data‐backed decisions
- Develop pricing strategies that balance growth and profitability
- Own go‐to‐market strategies, sales enablement, and customer engagement tools
- Champion training and education to boost internal EV knowledge
- Ensure compliance and legal oversight across all product offerings
About You:
- You bring proven strategic and product development experience within EV, automotive, energy or sustainable transport sectors
- You have a background in sales, product, or marketing, with a strong commercial mindset
- You're data‐driven, with the ability to translate insights into action
- You are confident leading cross‐functional projects and managing high‐level stakeholders
- Experience in contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and supplier management
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields
