About The Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Articulated Haul Truck operator to join our operations team on one of our major projects in the Bowen Basin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hauling and tipping materials between excavated, stockpiling and dump areas
- Work closely with other operators to maintain efficient production movement on site
- Complete pre-start inspections and report any mechanical faults or safety concerns
- Follow strict safety guidelines and ensure all tasks are completed to high safety standards
- Collaborate with the team to optimise efficiency and project outcomes
We anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated practical experience operating in a mine site environment
- RII Statement of Attainment for Articulated Haul Truck (essential) including current Standard 11
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Strong understanding and reliability in adhering to site standards; safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
The successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain a Coal Board Medical Health Assessment.
