The Role
You will work closely with senior designers and project stakeholders to produce creative, practical, and commercially viable design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Support: Assist in developing concept design schemes and preparing visual presentations, 3D renders using Coohom, and detailed IFC design documentation.
- Interior Design Packages: Prepare comprehensive ID packages including finishes selections, lighting concepts, joinery details, and fixtures and fittings.
- Furniture Schedules & FF&E: Develop detailed schedules and specify materials suitable for high-traffic hospitality environments.
- Documentation & Technical Drawings: Produce and update plans, elevations, and detail drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Project Coordination: Support delivery by tracking design decisions, assisting with site visits, and communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors.
About You
- You are a creative thinker with a practical mindset and strong communication skills. You have the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Coohom or similar 3D software.
- Strong understanding of FF&E specification and furniture scheduling.
- Experience working on hospitality projects such as pubs, clubs, or restaurants.
- Knowledge of Australian standard design codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Revit or BIM workflows.
