Technical Support in Melton

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Technical Support specialist to provide high-quality technical advice, training and product assistance to OEMs, transport fleets, service centres and internal teams throughout Australia. Reporting to the Product, Engineering and Technical Manager, you will provide a point of contact for technical enquiries relating to SAF-HOLLAND’s market-leading suspension and axle systems. This hands-on, varied role includes:

• Providing accurate and timely technical support to customers, service centres and internal teams via phone, email and in person
• Attending customer sites to diagnose product issues and prepare detailed reports
• Delivering product, installation and service training to OEMs, fleets, service centres and internal staff (throughout Australia) and maintaining training materials
• Assisting with internal/external product testing and inspections
• Assisting with the warranty lifecycle, including returns, claims entry, supplier liaison, and maintaining records and documentation
• Supporting customers with warranty portal use and booking repairs
• Supporting first-service request administration and general office tasks

What You Bring:

• Trade qualified in heavy automotive or trailer building
• Experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic/heavy vehicle product knowledge
• Transport industry experience (preferred)
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Computer literate with MS Office (particularly Excel), experience with CRM and ERP systems (we use Pronto – training will be provided)
• Experience in training or demonstrating service and maintenance of heavy vehicle components

This is a full-time role based at our Melton facility. Applicants must be currently residing in Australia and have full, unrestricted work rights.
