About Our School
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville is an exciting new state-of-the-art, two-stream Catholic primary school, established in 2023. This name celebrates the founding religious order for our primary school, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Our school is a two-stream school borne from the amalgamation of the two previous parish primary schools.
At Sacred Heart we have a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning with great academic results, and experienced, professional staff. We have specialist teachers in art, sports, music and dance. About You
As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- Expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- Strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
