The Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service (NARS) Spasticity Clinic offers a genuinely specialised practice environment. If you bring strong neurorehabilitation expertise and want to shape meaningful outcomes for people living with spasticity, this is a role with real clinical depth.

Your Role in Rehabilitation

  • Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment for adults with upper and lower limb spasticity across a range of neurological conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive spasticity assessments and develop goal-directed management plans in collaboration with the treating team.
  • Support and coordinate botulinum toxin injection clinics alongside medical and nursing colleagues.
  • Provide clinical supervision and professional support to Allied Health Assistants within the team.
  • Contribute to service evaluation, quality improvement, and the ongoing development of the Spasticity Clinic model of care.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on spasticity or movement disorders.
  • Proven ability to work within and contribute to a multidisciplinary team in a complex rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills applied to goal-setting and outcome measurement in rehabilitation populations.
  • Experience providing supervision, mentoring, or clinical education to less experienced clinicians.
  • Familiarity with SA Health policies, documentation standards, and rehabilitation frameworks is highly regarded.

To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

About You:

In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a passionate, highly driven, dedicated and progressive team.

Benefits of working at NALHN:

  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Regular clinical supervision, allowing you to receive individualised support, learning and development to help you achieve your career goals.
