The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an insurance broker to join their insurance broking team in South of Brisbane. In this role, you'll take ownership of an active commercial portfolio while continuing to build and grow the book. If you enjoy connecting with clients, care about delivering great insurance outcomes and want real room to grow your career, this is a role you'll want to explore.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an existing commercial portfolio focusing on civil, trade and heavy motor industries
- Develop genuine, long-term client relationships and act as a reliable adviser on all risk and insurance matters
- Provide tailored insurance solutions for both commercial and retail clients
- Drive new business growth through upsell, cross-sell and referrals
- Manage renewals, endorsements, claims and insurer negotiations.
About You
- Tier 1/Tier 2 qualification
- Commercial and general insurance knowledge
- Experience in managing a portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and identify growth opportunities
- Someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
- Highly proactive, business-minded and able to work with autonomy
