- UK school-based experience or equivalent
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate or NVQ CACHE Level 3 TA or RQF - TQUK Supporting Teaching Assistant & Learning in Schools Level 3 Certificate or equivalent
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Active listening, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
