About the role: In this dynamic role you’ll go beyond the numbers, analysing financial data and preparing high-quality reports that give clients real clarity and confidence in their financial position. Your work will directly support smarter decision-making, compliance, and long-term business success. You’ll manage records across assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax obligations, playing a vital role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and transparency across all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Apply knowledge of client, firm and industry trends and current issues
- Prepare clear, well-structured work papers evidencing work performed
- Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Identify and assist in resolving accounting issues
- Apply basic tax compliance procedures
- Assist with tax planning activities for clients
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
- Complete required regulatory forms accurately and on time
- Meet lodgment deadlines in line with lodgment program requirements
About you:
You’re a proactive, detail-driven accounting professional who enjoys turning financial data into clear, meaningful insights. With a foundation in accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy, you take pride in supporting clients to stay financially healthy and compliant. Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Business or Commerce degree with an accounting major
- Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification
