The Opportunity
RSGx is seeking expression of interest for highly skilled and motivated HV/LV Site Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of major renewable projects in WA
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to concept design, feasibility assessments, and technical planning of electrical systems.
- Develop and review detailed electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Oversee and manage HV/LV electrical installations on water infrastructure sites.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards, WHS regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to meet project milestones.
- Provide technical input and troubleshooting support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Support procurement and ensure quality control of electrical materials and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
You bring solid experience in site-based electrical engineering, ideally within the water or utilities sector. You've worked on HV/LV systems, SCADA integration, and have a strong understanding of electrical safety and commissioning practices.
You thrive in dynamic environments, are solutions-focused, and can work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HV/LV electrical systems,
- Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, and automation systems
- White Card and relevant site safety certifications
