WhatYou’llDo
- Act as the technical expert supporting sales and business teams
- Build andmaintainproduct knowledge (FAQs, comparisons, alternatives)
- Deliver product and technical training to sales teams and customers
- Support new product selection and launches with Product and Supplier Managers
- Develop strong knowledge of the RS Pro product range and applications
- Providetechnical advice to customers and internal sales teams
- Support sales and marketing with technical solutions and value propositions
- Identifycustomer projects and specification opportunities
- Support trade shows, demos, and technical marketing activities
- Engage with customers across the full sales cycle, including post-sales support
About you
If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Application Engineer in electronics, mechanical, industrial, distribution, or related RS industry roles
- Strong communicationskills to engage effectively at all business levels
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to provide value-added technical specification and engineering advice to customers
