About you: You're not looking for a \"keep the lights on\" brand role. You want a seat at the table, real ownership, and the runway to build something that people actually see.
At RSEA, we're building something exciting β a brand portfolio that cements us as a household name in Australian retail - and we need a Senior Brand Manager who's sharp, fast, commercially minded, and happy to roll their sleeves up and get it done.
This is for an ambitious, confident, and itching for progression person.
The Role-
You'll lead brand strategy and execution across a core part of our portfolio - including RSEA Masterbrand and our vertical brands - working closely with Product/Merch, Retail Ops, Digital/eComm partners and our in-house creative team.
You'll be the person who turns \"we should...\" into clear plans, killer briefs, and work that lands across retail, CRM and owned channels.
You'll have autonomy, visibility, and expectation. This role is high impact.
What you'll do :
- Own the brand plan: positioning, key messages, campaigns, seasonal moments and product stories.
- Build briefs that don't get forgotten about: clear, commercial, inspiring, and easy to execute in a fast-paced business.
- Drive integrated go-to-market: retail, CRM, content, in-store, catalogues, partnerships - the full ecosystem.
- Be the glue: align Product/Merch, Planning, Retail, Agencies and Creative so we move as one team.
- Guard the brand: consistency, tone of voice, creative standards, and customer experience.
- Make it better every week: fix what's broken, simplify what's messy, lift what's average.
- Measure what matters: brand health signals, campaign learnings, customer insights and \"what we do next\".
- Possess Australian work rights as they are required for this position.
- This role is based 5 days a week, onsite in our modern Hurstville support office.
What success looks like in 90 days
- You've got a grip on the portfolio, the customer, and the trading rhythm
- You've improved the quality of briefs and reduced rework
- You've built at least one strong integrated piece of work (campaign, launch, or brand refresh)
- Stakeholders trust you because you're commercial + clear + calm under pressure
- You're already building the next 6β12 months of brand momentum
You'll be great if you're...
- A strong brand operator with 6β10+ years' experience (retail, FMCG, agencies, or a mix)
- Commercially switched on - you understand product, margin, customer, and store realities
- Comfortable working fast without losing the plot
- Able to influence senior stakeholders without ego or fluff
- The type who sees a gap and fixes it (you don't wait to be asked)
- Hands-on: you can write copy, sense-check creative, build a plan, and chase the detail when needed
- A natural collaborator who also holds standards high
Why RSEA
- Progression: this is a genuine step-up role with clear growth pathways.
- Impact: big brand opportunity, lots to build, and leadership that wants momentum.
- Variety: retail + brand + CRM + in-store + partnerships + B2B - you won't be bored.
- In-house creative horsepower: designers on hand, real output, real speed.
- Good humans, no nonsense: we like people who do the work and keep it real.
