Our experienced and successful Port Douglas office is looking for a Survey Assistant to join their growing and busy team on a casual basis. You will work at various locations in the Port Douglas area assisting the survey team with their day-to-day activities, such as:
- Assisting with various manual tasks
- Placement of survey pegs, stakes and marks
- Set-up of survey equipment
About You
Whilst no prior experience is required, you will be a person who is self-motivated with a positive attitude who is serious about a career in Surveying. Ideally, you will be studying in this field or a related field; however, applications from people with the right attitude and a desire to learn and grow are also welcome!
Joining RPS will give you the opportunity to take the next step in your career with a clear pathway to develop into a Survey Technician in the near future, as well as allowing you to continue to develop your knowledge and experience within the field of Surveying and be mentored by some of the best leaders within the industry.
You will also have:
- A Current manual driver's licence
- A passion for working outdoors
- White Card (ideally)
- Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residency essential
