About the Role
The Beverage Manager leads all beverage and bar operations across RSYS, delivering exceptional experiences aligned with the Squadron’s premium member offering.
The role oversees the award-winning cellar, beverage programs and bar service across all outlets, functions and events, leading cellar and bar teams and partnering with hospitality teams to deliver outstanding service.
Acting as RSYS Sommelier, the position provides expert wine guidance, curates the cellar, and drives beverage training to elevate service standards and team capability.
The role manages the cellar as a key asset through strategic purchasing, stock control and stewardship, while contributing to commercial performance through procurement, supplier management, inventory control and margin optimisation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, actively involved in service, member engagement and supporting operations to ensure consistently high standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in beverage management, sommelier or cellar management roles within a premium hospitality environment.
- Advanced wine knowledge and experience managing wine lists or cellars.
- Leadership experience managing hospitality or beverage teams.
- Strong organisational, stock management and financial management skills.
- Experience delivering beverage training and improving service standards.
- RSA, Food Handlers and First Aid qualifications.
- Excellent wine and beverage knowledge.
- Strong leadership and team development capability.
- Exceptional customer service and member engagement skills.Attention to detail and commitment to premium service standards.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
