Elizabeth Gardens is seeking dedicated Food Services Assistants who are committed to delivering excellent service and creating a positive dining experience for our residents. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming, person-centred environment. As part of our team, you will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals while contributing to a warm and comfortable dining atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining clean and inviting dining areas
- Preparing, plating, and serving meals in line with the Food Safety Program
- Ensuring meals meet individual dietary and specialised nutritional requirements
- Providing friendly, professional service during meal times
What We're Looking For
- Experience in hospitality, food services, or aged care (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliability, organisation, and a commitment to safe and hygienic practices
- A genuine desire to support and engage with older people
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu Vaccine encouraged
- Food Handling Certificate
