We are currently seeking aged care Carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Benhome Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents. We are an award-winning, leading aged care provider delivering best quality aged care services that are making a difference in people’s lives.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
- Providing basic clinical care including wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations
- Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions
- Entering reports and observations into our computer program - iCare
- Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
What we look for:
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in an aged care environment
- An enthusiastic and motivated approach
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid police check clearance
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
