About the Role
Sydney Showground is now recruiting qualified and creative Chefs to join our casual BOH team for corporate and large- scale functions & events.
We are a dynamic and diverse place to work. Whether it's staging Australia's largest ticketed event, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, hosting major events and exhibitions at Sydney Showground, or running RAS Foundation or Education programs that support and develop agriculture in Australia. You Will
- Have a proven history of being punctual & reliable
- Have superior customer service skills
- Have an ability to make great connections
- Be energetic and committed
- Have an outstanding work ethic and impeccable grooming
- Practice good kitchen hygiene standards in line with the Food Safety Plan
- Be able to work weekdays, weekends and late nights (according to a 7-day rotating event-based roster)
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
About Us
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) has been an influential force in the direction and development of Australian agriculture through competitions, education and events since its foundation in 1822. The RAS is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting agricultural development and rural communities in Australia.
