About the role

We are seeking a Fulltime All Rounder to join our Bar & Beverage team at PIÑA in Potts Point. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service across all aspects of our dining and take away operations. As an all-rounder, you will be the backbone of our hospitality offering, supporting both our front-of-house and back-of-house operations with flexibility, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset. This role is based on-site at our Potts Point location and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities

• Service to the guests with accuracy, speed, and professionalism
• Providing friendly, efficient and attentive customer service to all guests
• Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring accurate processing and delivery
• Clearing and resetting tables promptly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the venue
• Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Supporting the preparation of the venue for service and closing procedures at the end of shifts
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations, including responsible service of alcohol
• Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak and quiet periods
• Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of responsible service of alcohol practices and compliance with local licensing laws
• Strong knowledge about food offering and products
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy service periods
• Flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic IT skills
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items safely
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a positive attitude
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Reliability and punctuality
• Preferred: Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, or food service would be advantageous
