We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our RBW team. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients and businesses across the Geelong and surrounding areas in a timely and professional manner. You will act as the face of our company, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service when delivering their orders.
Core Responsibilities
- Transport & Navigation: Safely operate a company vehicle (Van) to deliver goods, following the most efficient routes and adhering to all local traffic laws and road regulations.
- Loading & Unloading: Manually or mechanically load and unload cargo, ensuring items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. Experience with a walkie stacker forklift is preferred.
- Warehousing/Unloading Stock: Receiving goods, unloading stock, putting away stock on shelves, stock control.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients in a polite and professional manner, handling any inquiries, and resolving delivery issues.
- Documentation & Payments: Obtain customer signatures (Proof of Delivery), and process or collect payments when required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks, report any mechanical issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean, serviced and well-fuelled.
