We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Neurological Physiotherapist to join our growing fun and collaborative team. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will join our team as a physiotherapist (min 2-3 years experience in Neurological Physiotherapy) or a Senior Physiotherapist (at least 3 years' experience in Neurological Physiotherapy).

At RoboFit, we’re not just helping clients with neurological conditions; we’re creating an environment where small wins turn into life-changing progress. If you're a Senior Physiotherapist who values clinical excellence, collaboration, supporting colleagues and purpose-driven work, we’d love to meet you.

This is a full-time or part-time (0.8) role at RoboFit Melbourne. We’re looking for a senior physiotherapist who shares our values: We Win Together, Drive Change, Pick Up the Broom, Spread Joy, and Driven to Climb Mountains, to help us expand access and improve outcomes for our growing community.

You’ll work with clients across a wide range of neurological conditions using a combination of Conventional Neuro Physiotherapy and the world’s first neuro-controlled exoskeleton, the Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL).

RoboFit is a community-driven and people-centric team who focus on each person as a valued individual. We celebrate and empower staff and clients alike, remembering we all live a life outside of the clinic. By understanding what life looks like for clients, it enables us to remain focused on their individual achievements and little wins.

Clinically, we are constantly upskilling and learning to ensure we deliver the best tailored, gold standard, evidence-based treatments we can, aligning with client goals, clinical strengths and innovative technology.

About our clients: We support clients living with neurological or musculoskeletal conditions to improve their daily function, quality of life, independence in walking and transfers. Our clients choose RoboFit for the people that make up the team. The technology may help spark curiosity but it is the human connection and support that helps our clients to achieve their 1% wins leading to meaningful change in their lives.

About RoboFit: RoboFit is a social enterprise reimagining neurological rehabilitation by combining evidence-based therapy with innovative technology. Our clinics support people living with spinal cord injuries, MS, Parkinson’s, stroke survivors, and other neuro conditions using the latest in neuroplasticity research and hands-on clinical care.

What your ideal day at RoboFit will look like: We start each day with a quick team huddle. Everyone shares a win, their focus for the day and anything they need a hand with. Then it’s into the clinic. Your day is a mix of clients with different neurological presentations. You might start with a stroke survivor working toward walking in the community. Next could be a HAL exoskeleton session with a client living with a spinal cord injury, then a strength and balance program for someone with Parkinson’s disease or off to a hydro session with a client. No two sessions look the same as no two clients look the same.

Between sessions you’ll write up your notes, check in with stakeholders or colleagues about shared clients. You’re never on your own: there’s always a team member nearby to bounce ideas off. Through the month you’ll also join case reviews, in-services and RoboPals, our peer mentoring program, so you keep learning and contributing as you go. At the end of the day you’ll go home knowing you helped someone take a step closer to their goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred therapy to clients living with spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson’s disease, FND, stroke, chronic pain and other neurological conditions.
  • Combine conventional treatment with innovative technology like the HAL exoskeleton.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and exercise physiologists in clinic.
  • Support clients across funding schemes including NDIS, DVA, SIRA, MAC and icare, and write reports that help them access the support they need.
  • Take part in ongoing clinical education, mentoring and case reviews.
  • Build meaningful connections with clients, their families and support networks.

What you will bring:

  • AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • A passion for working with people living with neurological conditions.
  • A collaborative, curious and compassionate approach to care.
  • Strong communication, documentation and time management skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificates, a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
  • A driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally if required.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting clients with neurological conditions.
  • Experience writing reports for NDIS or other funding schemes.
  • New graduates with a genuine interest in neuro are encouraged to reach out to discuss our new graduate program.

Why you’ll love working at RoboFit:

  • Team culture - work in a supportive, close-knit clinic focused on collaboration, not competition.
  • Personalised PD - access to internal and external professional development, a dedicated CPD budget, and peer mentoring through RoboPals.
  • World-leading tech - deliver therapy with the HAL neuro-controlled exoskeleton.
  • Purpose-built clinic - modern, accessible space designed for neurorehab excellence.
  • Real impact - celebrate 1% wins that add up to meaningful change in your clients’ lives.
