Robinvale District Health Service (RDHS) provides flexible and coordinated health care services for communities in Victoria’s accessible Outback – we work in northwest Victoria, and parts of New South Wales.
We provide aged care, sub-acute and allied health services on a primary care model that meets our communities’ health needs across the lifespan.

We are seeking a Social Worker – Grade 2to work in afull-timebasis (80hrs per fortnight, including ADO’s – ongoing)
About the role
The Grade 2 Social Worker is an experienced clinician who works with individuals, families, groups and communities to assist with, and improve well-being through casework, counselling, advocacy and community development.
The role involves working with acute inpatients, outpatients and aged care residents and includes psycho-social assessment, discharge planning, education and referral.
The Grade 2 Practitioner may also have responsibility for the supervision of students.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
- At least two years’ experience working the Social Work field.
- Proficient clinical skills in psychosocial assessment, risk assessment, complex care planning, social work interventions and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated understanding of theoretical frameworks which inform Social Work practice.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
