Qualified Plumbers – Local Opportunities | FIFO - Brisbane | DIDO - Rockhampton
ROAR Plumbing & Electrical is seeking experienced and qualified plumbers to join our growing team in Emerald, Central Queensland.
We have opportunities available for local plumbers, FIFO from Brisbane and DIDO from Rockhampton and surrounds.
Works range from network maintenance, civil plumbing and capital works projects.
We are looking for reliable, motivated tradespeople who take pride in their work and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake network maintenance and capital works on council network infrastructure
- Perform general plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance
- Carry out civil plumbing works as required
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Work effectively with supervisors, clients and other trades
About you
- Current driver's licence
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience in civil plumbing works
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Gas fitting qualifications and experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Excavator and bobcat operating experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- MR truck licence (highly regarded but not essential)
- Previous experience working on industrial or remote projects (highly regarded but not essential)
- Poly welding experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Experience working with council infrastructure (highly regarded but not essential)
- Competitive hourly rates of $60–$65, depending on experience
- Local employment opportunities, FIFO or DIDO

- Shifts ranging from 8–12 hours per day
- Monday to Friday roster, with optional weekend work available
