Roadmaster Refrigerated Transport – Fyshwick ACT
We are seeking reliable MR / HR drivers to complete refrigerated delivery work from our Fyshwick depot. The work involves early morning delivery runs and significant manual handling, so it is best suited to experienced drivers who are physically fit, reliable and comfortable with repetitive lifting.
The Work Includes:
- Operating refrigerated vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing scheduled deliveries throughout the region
- Manual unloading of milk crates weighing up to 20kg each
- Handling high-volume deliveries, with loads of up to approximately 4.5 tonnes per run
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
- Following road transport, fatigue management and site safety requirements
- Providing professional service to customers
- Using electronic devices and systems for delivery and driving-hour records
What You'll Need:
- Be an established Pty Ltd business operating independently, with appropriate current insurances and workers
- MR or HR licence
- Refrigerated transport experience highly regarded
- Current traffic history/report
- Strong physical fitness and ability to complete repetitive manual handling
- Safe and professional driving record
- Reliable and punctual approach
- Ability to complete required medical, drug and alcohol screening
- Confidence using tablets and electronic transport systems
- Strong Think Safe attitude
- Appropriate Australian working rights
