RnD Fabrications is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team on a casual basis with an opportunity to progress to full time. Based in Bayswater North, sheet metal fabrication, press brake folding, MIG & TIG welding experience is required.
What you'll be doing:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements and processes
- Working with laser cut materials (cut in house) such as steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Inspecting finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards and design specifications
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a small team
- Must be reliable and turn up EVERY day
What we're looking for:
- Formal qualification is not required if you have the skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Hands-on experience operating fabrication machinery and tools
- Attention to detail with the ability to work to tight tolerances and specifications
- Physical capability to perform manual work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
