Job Description
We are seeking an experienced mining engineer to support various projects located at site and brisbane office.
As a Senior Mining Engineer you will play a key role in supporting development of an executable plan, identifying risk and opportunities, and communicating the operating strategy without compromising on quality and sustainability, whilst maximising productivity.
We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, and communication skills to ensure we provide a high level quality support to our clients.
Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships across different departments. As a successful candidate, you will have to possess the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years mining experience with minimum 5 years on-site experience is a must.
- Experience in open cut coal mines.
Multiple commodities will be preferable.
- Experience in various mining methods (Truck Shovel, Dragline, Dozer Push)
- Experience in mine design, reserving and scheduling for short, medium and long-term plan
- Proficient in using various mining softwares eg.
Vulcan, Deswik, Spry The role will require frequent travel to site on specific roster as per required by client.
