Rio Tinto in the Pilbara region of Western Australia is seeking a Blast Operator to join our Drill and Blast teams across multiple mine sites. You will contribute to productivity and help achieve operational targets in a safety-driven, team-focused environment with family-friendly rosters (8:6 or 8:6/7:7).
Reporting to the Blast Supervisor, you will:
- Help maintain safety culture
- Participate in explosive handling
- Comply with blast plans
- Stock magazines
- Inspect equipment
- Support continuous improvement
