We're looking for an experienced Head of Finance from the Retail industry to lead our finance function and play a key role in taking the business forward.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of our day to day finance operations, leading a capable and commercially focused finance team.

You’ll work closely with C-Suite and senior leaders across the business, providing financial insight, driving accountability and ensuring we have the reporting, controls and processes to support a growing multi channel business.

We're looking for a hands on leader who enjoys being close to the action, working alongside their team and getting into the detail. Someone who leads by example, takes ownership and isn’t afraid to jump in and get things done.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage the finance function and broader finance team.

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

• Partner with senior leaders to drive financial performance and profitability.

• Oversee cash flow, working capital, inventory accounting and cost management.

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll and core finance operations.

• Lead audit preparation, statutory reporting and financial compliance.

• Maintain strong financial controls, processes and governance.

• Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting, automation and efficiency.

• Build financial accountability and commercial understanding across the business.

• Stay hands on, support your team and step into the detail when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or senior finance management role.

• CA or CPA qualified.

• Experience within retail, apparel, wholesale or ecommerce.

• Strong technical accounting, reporting and financial management skills.

• Experience managing external audits and statutory compliance.

• Strong understanding of inventory, margins, cost of goods and working capital.

• A hands on leader who leads by example and enjoys working with people across all areas of the business.

• Commercially minded, organised and motivated to make things better.

• Someone who takes ownership, builds great teams and gets things done.
