We are currently seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to join our casual team across Gold Coast and in the Ormeau area.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Personal support — assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- High‑level personal care, including mobility assistance and falls‑risk awareness
- Community access — supporting clients to attend appointments, social activities, and community programs
- Domestic assistance — cleaning, laundry, meal preparation
- Companionship — offering emotional reassurance, conversation, and meaningful social connection
- Mental‑health‑informed support — understanding behavioural cues and providing calm, reassuring interaction
- Care plan documentation — following individualised plans and accurately recording services
- Team collaboration — working closely with our coordinators and clinical team to ensure safe, high‑quality support
About You
You’re someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in people’s lives. You bring:
- Compassion and patience
- Confidence working independently in clients’ homes and in the community
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or current health‑related studies
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
