Community Physiotherapist β Help Build Our New In-House Allied Health Team
Right at Home Ipswich & Lockyer Valley is starting an in-house allied health team, and we're looking for a Community Physiotherapist to help us build it. You'll work alongside our care team to help older people stay strong, safe and independent at home under Support at Home, and you'll have a real say in how the service takes shape.
The role
You'll provide physiotherapy to clients in their own homes across Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley, with a focus on goal-based, reablement-style care. This includes:
Initial physiotherapy assessments
Falls risk assessment and prevention
Strength, balance and endurance programs
Functional mobility and transfer support
Post-hospital and post-surgical rehabilitation
Supporting chronic condition management
Working with our Care Partners, nurses and support workers so physiotherapy is part of every client's care plan
About you
Current AHPRA registration
3+ years' physiotherapy experience, ideally with some community or aged care exposure
Professional indemnity insurance and comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
A client-centred, reablement-focused approach
Confident working in a multidisciplinary team and making sound clinical decisions in the home
Keen to grow with a new service and step into senior or leadership roles over time
What we offer
A permanent role with predictable hours and income, with flexibility to discuss part-time or job-share
Funded professional development and study leave
A graduated start with orientation, home visit safety training and shadowing across the care team
Admin and scheduling support, so more of your time goes to clients
Reablement and goal-focused work, with less complexity than NDIS-only caseloads
Support from a local office with 100+ staff, backed by national Right at Home clinical forums and professional networks
Salary of $85,000 β $110,000, depending on your experience + company car
