Experienced Hairdresser for RIBBON HAIR SALON is a well-established company located in Melbourne. We specialize in Asian hair and permanent wave.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated experienced hair designer to join the dynamic team at our busy salon. You should have a genuine passion for hairdressing, be friendly and honest, and enjoy dealing with people. You should be hardworking with a positive, mature mindset with the goal of a long-term career in the hairdressing industry.
Salary Range: $79,500

The Roles Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Performing hair styling to customers with various hairdressing tools and techniques
- Providing recommendations and professional advice to clients on hair care and beauty products
- Providing services such as conditioning, bleaching, permanent waving, and straightening the hair
The position requires:
- A proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment
- Highly skilled in balayage, foilayage, colour correction, and foiling
- Permanent wave (cold wave and digital perm) and straightening
- Highly skilled in cutting and hair styling
- Great customer service
- Well presented
- Good communication, taking phone calls, and maintaining appointment database
- Good punctuality and ability to work as a team
- Confident in blonding and balayages; extension application a plus but not necessary
- Able to work unsupervised
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Well presented and punctual
