About the Team
Our C4i (CISRS) Engineering team consists of a combination of Software Developers and Systems Engineers, operating out of our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Queensland. This cross-functional team operates as a key stakeholder for all variants of the Boxer platform in relation to LAND 400 Ph2.
About the Role
As a Software Test Engineer within the CISRS team, you will contribute to the design of software test plans and develop and execute automated test frameworks that help improve the quality of the CISRS product. The primary objective of the Software Test Engineer will be conceiving and recommending testing solutions for the following:
- Functional correctness of the product;
- The integration of subsystems;
- Performance, reliability and security aspects of the system.
The successful candidate will also actively participate in formal and informal design reviews, support with troubleshooting and collaborate effectively with other CISRS team members.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent;
- Experience in development of automated tests using Python, Javascript and/or other test frameworks;
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively;
- Comfortable working in development environments such as Linux / with Virtual Machines;
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
