RH Staffing Solutions is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our casual pool of nurses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in aged care facilities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the smooth operation of nursing activities.
RN/EEN Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication rounds and administer medications in accordance with prescriptions, organisational policies and relevant legislation.
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects and adverse reactions, and promptly report concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or medical practitioner.
- Complete medication documentation accurately, including signing medication charts and reporting medication incidents.
- Assess, manage and document wounds using approved wound-care plans and infection-control procedures.
- Monitor wound healing and escalate signs of infection, deterioration or delayed healing to treating team.
- Support the care team by providing clinical guidance, allocating tasks within scope and assisting with residents' daily care needs.
- Monitor residents' health and promptly report changes in their physical, cognitive or emotional condition.
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Respond to falls, incidents and clinical deterioration according to workplace procedures.
- Follow infection prevention, manual handling, workplace safety and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Work within the RN/EEN scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of an RN/Care Manager escalating concerns when required.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Proven experience as a Registered/Enrolled Nurse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Australian Citizen or permanent resident or visa holders with current Australian working rights.
- Valid Police clearance or willingness to obtain.
Competitive above award base pay for EENs $52-$55 per hour, RN pay rates $74-76/hour base pay. Shift penalties as per award + 12% superannuation on top of base pay. Enjoy perks like a refer-a-friend program and special bonuses (conditions apply). Flexible shift options.
