Geelong BMW / Motorrad has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our dealership located in Geelong. Working within a fast paced and high volume vehicle repair & maintenance department, this role involves leading a team of advisors, technicians, and administrative staff whilst working collaboratively with all internal departments to maintain the highest level of customer service.
General responsibilities will involve:
- Planning, scheduling and monitoring daily activities of the service department and analysis of results to aim for uncompromised quality of service.
- Ensure efficient delivery and pick-up of customer vehicles.
- Maintain, order and monitor all required workshop tools/equipment and parts in line with business guidelines and policies.
- Assist with diagnosis of vehicle problems.
- Provide technical support to sales teams as required.
- Ensure ongoing training and performance management of the service team.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff comply with OH&S requirements.
You will be self motivated in delivering customer satisfaction and achieving CSI, be articulate in explaining vehicle service requirements/outcomes, have exceptional presentation and leadership skills to manage daily workshop operations. Demonstrated experience using retail DMS Systems, vehicle service knowledge and/or mechanical experience will be highly regarded. Previous experience within a BMW dealership will be advantageous.
