We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service in our Hospitality Store. You'll be part of a supportive team with a great culture, working in our Cairns store Monday to Friday.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Assist with customer enquiries in-store, over the phone, via live chat, and by email
- Process sales orders, credits, and returns
- Handle cash transactions, end-of-day reconciliation, petty cash, and banking
- Manage stock — unpacking deliveries, lifting and moving stock, barcoding, pricing, and ensuring correct placement in-store
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for collection or delivery
- Maintain a clean and well-presented store through regular merchandising and shelf organisation
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service-focused role
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on positive customer outcomes
- Self-motivated and a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills, with patience and empathy when engaging with a diverse customer base
- Experience with EFTPOS systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills are an advantage
