At Respect, we believe aged care is about more than providing support — it’s about creating places where people feel safe, valued, connected and truly at home.

As the largest provider of aged care services in Regional Australia, Respect is a growing, values-led not-for-profit organisation with an exciting future ahead.

Following Respect’s acquisition of McLean Care, our organisation is entering an exciting new chapter, bringing together people, expertise and communities with a shared commitment to delivering exceptional care for older Australians.

This is an opportunity to step into a full-time, Monday to Friday clinical role, where you can focus on what matters most — strengthening clinical governance, improving care outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Working closely with the General Manager, Care Manager and Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator (where applicable), you’ll drive quality improvement initiatives, oversee clinical risk and compliance systems, support best-practice care and ensure readiness for accreditation and regulatory reviews.

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical leadership, quality outcomes and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.

No two days are the same! As Care Coordinator you will be:

  • Completing clinical assessments and responding to changes in residents’ needs
  • Supporting admissions and ensuring new residents are appropriately assessed
  • Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation
  • Providing and supporting direct nursing care when required
  • Monitoring wounds, falls, clinical deterioration and other areas of clinical risk
  • Supporting medication management, infection control and clinical audits
  • Assisting with investigation and close-out of clinical incidents
  • Guiding, supporting and developing nurses and care staff
  • Supporting staff orientation, competency assessment and education
  • Promoting best-practice care, continuous improvement and strong clinical governance.

About You

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience working within residential aged care
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation and nursing practice skills
  • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft applications and clinical information systems.
  • Experience in a similar clinical leadership role, knowledge of aged care accreditation and quality improvement programs.

Why You Will Love Working With Us

  • A friendly, supportive workplace where people and purpose matter.
  • Meaningful work where you make a difference every day.
  • Opportunities to build a rewarding, long-term career in aged care.
