About the Role
- We are currently seeking
- Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated clinical team at
- Mitchell House on a
Part-Time or Casual basis .
Working closely with Registered Nurses and care staff, you will support positive clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where residents receive person-centred care and support.
This is a rewarding opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with residents and their families while working within a professional, supportive team that values quality care, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
No Two Days Are the Same! As an Enrolled Nurse You Will
- Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing resident assessments to support individualised care planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Administer medications safely and maintain correct medication records.
- Monitor residents' health and promptly report any changes to Registered Nurses.
- Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
- Participate in clinical handovers, care planning discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have
- Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Minimum two years' post‑graduate clinical experience, preferably within aged care.
- Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.
- Sound understanding of residential aged care practices and clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of aged care standards and commitment to delivering high‑quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Required immunisations and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.
