FIFO Utility All-Rounder MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an experienced FIFO Utility All-Rounder (based in Perth) to join the Remote Personnel team on a casual basis. As a Utility All-Rounder, you will be a key member of our housekeeping and general services team, providing essential support across multiple operational areas to ensure our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and functionality. Your versatility and willingness to work across different tasks will be crucial to the success of our hospitality operations.
Key responsibilities
- Performing general housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying and sanitising accommodation areas, common spaces and facilities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all operational areas in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations
- Supporting laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying and folding linens and uniforms
- Assisting with waste management and recycling programmes
- Responding flexibly to ad-hoc requests and supporting other departments as needed
- Restocking supplies and maintaining inventory of cleaning and general supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhering to all FIFO scheduling requirements and demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working in housekeeping or general utility roles, ideally in hospitality, mining camps, or similar remote operations
- Strong experience in FIFO work environments and demonstrated ability to adapt to roster schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual duties, including lifting and carrying
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and support different operational areas
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Current police clearance and ability to obtain necessary security clearances
- Relevant certifications such as Working at Heights, First Aid or Food Safety are advantageous
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- WA Driver's Licence "C" class (front & back - must be WA; international/interstate licences must be converted at a Licensing Centre prior onboarding)
- Passport (must be valid) OR Citizenship Certificate OR Birth Certificate
- Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months) CLEAR
- RSA Certificate
- White Card
- PTD Authorisation (Bus Driver role only)
