REMA TIP TOP is seeking experienced Surface Protection Technicians (Rubber Liners) to join our supportive and growing team in our Welshpool Workshop on a Monday to Friday roster.
Duties and tasks
- Surface preparation of different lining/coating systems - soft rubber lining systems, hard rubber lining systems, composite systems, polyurea and polyurethane systems on steel surfaces.
- Application of relevant primer & adhesive systems
- Application of different lining / coating systems in accordance to manufacturer and/or client standard
- Reading of technical drawings
- Reading and adherence to job card & QC guidelines
- Lay out & cutting of different lining systems
- Operating relevant hand / power tools within safety specifications
- Job requirements
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in Rubber Lining
- High Risk Work Licence including Forklift
- Working at Heights ticket
- Confined Space ticket
- Construction induction white card
