We are now seeking an experienced Payroll Officer / Administration Support professional to join our team in Acacia Ridge.
About the Role:
Working alongside our Business Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function for all Reliance Workforce casual, temporary, and permanent employees - up to 150 workers weekly across multiple industrial awards. You will be working on our front end and assisting our candidates during interview processes
This role requires, high attention to detail, and expert-level understanding of award interpretation within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for up to 150 casual and permanent staff
- Interpret and apply multiple industrial awards accurately
- Complete payroll data entry and verification
- Process weekly client invoices through FoundU
- Respond to all payroll-related queries
- Maintain and update client and payroll reports
- Respond to Centrelink and Child Support enquiries
- Answer incoming calls and assist with general office duties
About You:
- 5+ years of payroll experience (mandatory)
- Expert knowledge of industrial awards
- Experience with Xero Payroll, FoundU, and invoicing systems
- Strong understanding of payroll deadlines and compliance
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Reliability and flexibility during peak periods (Easter & Christmas)
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- High integrity, honesty, and professionalism
- Australian citizenship is required
