Relay Labour Hire is seeking experienced, qualified carpenters for upcoming residential and commercial projects across Melbourne.
We’re looking for carpenters with at least 5 years’ experience, strong attention to detail and proven skills in timber and steel framing, lock-up and fix.

ABOUT THE WORK
Depending on the project, duties may include
- Timber and steel framing
- Lock-up and fix carpentry
- Residential renovations and new builds
- Commercial carpentry and fit-outs
- Reading plans and completing work to specifications
- Working safely and maintaining a tidy site
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Current White Card valid for work in Victoria
- Own tools, with electrical equipment tested and tagged where required
- Ability to work independently and alongside other trades
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and clear communication
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Australian working rights
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
- Working with Children Check advantageous for relevant sites
- PAY & OPPORTUNITIES
- $50–$53 per hour + super, depending on experience and assignment
- Applicable overtime rates and allowances
- Opportunities for further assignments based on performance and client demand
- Potential for longer-term placements where available
