State Manager - Occupational Rehabilitation

Rehab Management is one of Australia's leading workplace rehabilitation providers. It's part of the Arriba Group, alongside LiveBig and AimBig Employment, and the group's purpose is empowering lives together.

Its multidisciplinary teams of allied health professionals help injured workers return to safe, sustainable work. They work in partnership with insurers, employers and brokers across workers compensation and motor vehicle schemes.

The role
As State Manager, you'll set the vision and lead service delivery across Victoria.
You'll own the numbers, the people, the client relationships and the relationship with the regulator. You'll also play an active part in national projects and innovation.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the state budget, revenue and EBIT targets, writing the state business plan, and delivering monthly forecasting and reporting

  • Setting the strategic direction for the state, finding growth opportunities and expanding market presence

  • Running day-to-day operations, including resourcing, workflow, productivity and quality, so the state runs consistently and efficiently

  • Building and leading a high-performing team: mentoring Area Managers, setting clear expectations, running performance reviews and planning succession

  • Acting as the key contact for the state's workers compensation and motor vehicle scheme regulators, and keeping certification, registrations and compliance in place

  • Building strong relationships with insurers, employers, brokers and industry partners, and representing the business at industry events

Why Rehab Management?

You’ll have clear accountability and genuine influence, with the opportunity to develop great people, improve performance and help deliver better outcomes.

You’ll also enjoy:

  • Professional development: Monthly internal PD plus a generous personal PD budget

  • Extra leave: ‘You Days’, one ‘Paws Leave’ day plus two study days each year

  • Flexible work: Choose how and where you work best

  • Bonus incentives: Be rewarded for your impact

  • Paid parental leave: Up to eight weeks for primary carers and two weeks for secondary carers

What you'll bring

  • Relevant experience in leading a operational management of an occupational rehabilitation multidisciplinary team

  • A tertiary qualification in allied health and current membership of the relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW, SPA)

  • Strong commercial skills, with experience in strategic planning, budgeting and financial management

  • Solid knowledge of evidence-based occupational rehabilitation practice and the scheme requirements.
