The opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Dewatering Technician to join the team at our Duketon operation. Reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day watering equipment of the site and monitor the water requirements. This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) from Perth.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitoring site water supplies, operation, and maintenance
- Troubleshooting pump and piping issues and performing routine maintenance
- Constructing, monitoring, and maintaining dewatering infrastructure (e.g. wells, pipelines, meters, pressure gauges)
- Installing bore pump systems and bypasses
- Repairing water pipelines (including polywelding if required)
- Fuelling and servicing pumping equipment
About you:
To be successful for this role, you will have:
- Experience in operating and maintaining pumps
- Relevant machinery tickets (e.g. IT loader, Telehandler, Excavator, HR)
- A current WA Class C Manual Driver’s Licence
