  • Manage payroll onboarding, employee changes, salary adjustments and termination processing.
  • Prepare payroll reporting, reconciliations and compliance documentation.
  • Utilise Tanda Payroll and workforce management systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide practical HR advice and support to managers across employee relations, performance management and workplace matters.
  • Prepare employment contracts, variation letters and employment-related documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, employee movements and offboarding activities.
  • Support workplace investigations, employee concerns and policy interpretation.
  • Assist with employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across payroll, HR processes and systems.

About You

You're highly organised, detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right the first time.

You enjoy balancing technical payroll expertise with building strong relationships across the business and providing practical advice to leaders.

You'll also bring

  • Sound understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards and employment compliance.
  • Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Exposure to employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
  • Ideal experience using Tanda Payroll.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously.
