Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver - (I&P) Orange
As part of the Trade Counter team, you’ll help landscapers, irrigation specialists and other tradespeople access the products they need to take care of their outdoor spaces, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.
No trade industry experience? No problem. We believe skills can be taught. Whether you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, customer service or another people‑focused role, your skills could be a great fit. We’ll teach you the rest through paid, on‑the‑job training and ongoing development.
Your day‑to‑day
- Providing customer service and information about products.
- Offering quotes both in person and over the phone.
- Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.
- Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
- Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives.
We’re looking for
People with career potential and a growth mindset. Enjoys learning new skills and product knowledge.
Helping people and providing a welcoming service in a busy, hands‑on environment.
Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and has attention to detail.
Tech‑savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence.
Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
