Role Responsibilities

- Lead and support the local HR function, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee lifecycle activities.
- Support workforce planning, talent development and succession planning to meet operational requirements.
- Partner with leaders to deliver organisational change, employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse workforce trends and HR metrics to identify risks, inform decisions and improve business performance.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role, ideally within manufacturing, processing or a similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters and providing sound advice to senior leaders.
- Experience working with unions and managing industrial relations matters will be highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, sound judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
