Due to a period of parental leave, we are seeking a passionate and engaging Science & Biology Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract for the 2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is enthusiastic about helping students explore the wonders of science, develop critical thinking skills, and deepen their understanding of the living world through Biology.
About the Role
Working within our Secondary School, you will deliver high-quality learning experiences across Science and Biology. You will inspire students through engaging, contemporary teaching practices while contributing positively to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the College, including Home Group responsibilities and student wellbeing programs consistent with the College's pastoral care approach.

- Holds current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
- Has experience teaching Secondary Science, with the ability to teach Biology.
- Demonstrates a commitment to student-centred learning and academic excellence.
- Builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Creates engaging and inclusive classroom environments.
